These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Formora iOS application ("the app"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Formora. By using the app you confirm that you meet this age requirement, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that you will provide accurate information about yourself when you choose to do so.
Formora is a self-tracking tool for body measurements, progress photos, weight, body composition, and personal goals. It is not a medical device, and the calculations it shows (BMI, body fat, waist-to-hip ratio, lean body mass, etc.) are general estimates intended for self-monitoring. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions based on this information.
Formora does not require an account. Your data is stored on your device and — depending on what you enable — synchronised with Apple Health and backed up in encrypted form to your own iCloud storage, which is also how your devices stay in step with each other. The automatic iCloud backup is on by default and can be turned off in Settings. What it contains, how it is encrypted and how to delete it is set out in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your device, your Apple ID and your iCloud account secure. Because the backup lives in your iCloud rather than on our servers, we cannot access, restore or delete it for you, and we are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, OS reinstallation, uninstallation of the app, iCloud being unavailable or full, or iCloud Keychain being disabled (without it the backup cannot be restored on another device). You can also export your data at any time from within the app.
The app is free to download and use with limits on the Free plan. The PRO plan unlocks the features described on the in-app paywall and may change as features evolve.
PRO subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly.

The app, including its source code, design, copy, icons, and brand assets, is owned by the developer and is protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app. Our total cumulative liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount you have paid for a subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the app or any PRO features if you materially breach these Terms or if continued operation becomes legally or commercially impractical. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by local consumer-protection rules. Otherwise, English law applies. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
